Working with DevLune

Work on real projects, paid on what you build.

DevLune takes on more work than one person can build. When that happens I bring in people I trust and pay them out of the project. No salary, no seat, no standups. Here is exactly how it works, before you apply.

There is no salary

DevLune is one person and a small group of people who take on work when it comes in. Nobody is on payroll, including me. If you need a fixed monthly number, this is not the place, and I would rather say that now than in a call.

You take a percentage of what you work on

Every project has a fee. You get a share of it, agreed in writing before you start, based on how much of the build is yours. Bigger slice of the work, bigger slice of the fee. You are told the project value, so you can do the arithmetic yourself.

Bring a client, get a bonus

If a project comes in because of you, there is a bonus on top of whatever you earn building it. That holds whether or not you do the work yourself.

What I look for

Four things, none of them a degree.

  • You have shipped something real. A repo, an app in a store, a live site. Anything I can open.
  • You can work without being managed. Requirements arrive as a written brief and you come back with questions, not silence.
  • You are honest about what you do not know. Guessing costs a client money.
  • Written English good enough to talk to a client directly, because sometimes you will.
Apply

Tell me what you build.

I read every one of these myself and reply either way. A link to something you have shipped is worth more than a resume, so the upload is optional.
