Workers KV

KV stores values (text, JSON or binary, up to 25 MiB each) under keys inside namespaces, and caches popular keys in Cloudflare's data centres so reads are fast worldwide. A Worker reads it through a binding with a call such as env.CONFIG.get('theme'), and writes go through the same API, the dashboard or Wrangler.

It is eventually consistent: a change can take 60 seconds or more to show up in other locations. That suits feature flags, redirects, configuration and cached API responses, but not counters, stock levels or anything two users might change at once, where D1 or Durable Objects fit better.
